Keith Nowland is a Eudora resident, currently serving on the board as the CVB Representative. Keith worked in public education for 15 years as a teacher and principal prior to opening Keith Nowland State Farm in Eudora in 2005.
Keith has two children, Jack and Nikki. He believes it’s the responsibility of local businesses to be active chamber members and give back to the community that supports their enterprises.
"Eudora has been a great place to run my business the past 11+ years. There is great opportunity here, and that’s really all you can ask for!
I believe the chamber is important because it brings the business community together. Regardless of how different our businesses may appear to be, we all have some things in common – not the least of which is needing the products and services that each of us provide. I’ve made so many valuable business to business connections through the chamber over the years. So there are benefits to chamber membership, but in reality the chamber needs all local businesses to join in order to fulfill its mission. With each business owner that joins we gain that much more knowledge and expertise collectively. Additionally, I’ve always held the belief that if a community supports your business, you have some obligation to give back and the chamber is a great way to do that."
